I’ve always been drawn to the aesthetic of old pictures and the culture of the 20s, 30s and 40s. It was a time when products were made solid and when people were more in touch with their craft. Artisans made life tangible. Though I feel with the mass production of everything today those bygone qualities are no longer a standard. I like to think of my work as a modern take on an old world. Resurrecting the people and spirit of the past when manual labor was an art form.

Our Photographic Prints
edna's room photography reproductions are true photographic prints, meaning they are archival and chromogenic. They are printed on an acid-free photographic matte paper and have a longevity of 100+ years under normal light conditions.
All edna’s room prints are signed and numbered on an authenticity card.
The quoted dimensions of print sizes are for the paper size only, not the printed area. Each print contains a minimum border of ½ inch to allow for matting and framing. Our prints are kept true to the original artwork.
Edna’s Room sources our wooden frames from an FSC certified company that is active in a global ecosystem reforestation project. The matting is an acid-free, lignen-free four ply mat. It is also alkaline pH buffered, as well as bleed and fade resistant, which means it will not damage the art or discolor. Our matting is neutral white in color.
Our frames are fitted with flawless premium clear acrylic that is shatterproof for shipping purposes. We only use Artcare foamboard for the backer board, which is both an acid-free archival surface and the foam inside absorbs and neutralizes any off-gasses from the foam. This backing does not damage or fade the artwork.
Our standard sized frames are available for edna’s room fine art and photographic prints, for print sizes 8 x10, 11 x 14 and 16 x 20 only. Our frames come in black or white , with the choice between 2 moulding widths, wide and narrow. If you would like framing for another piece, see custom framing.
If framing is not available for the piece you’ve chosen, we will do our best to accommodate you through a custom framing consultation.
If you would like a consultation and quote, please email us with “custom frame request” in the subject heading, include the details of the piece you’re considering and send to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note, custom framing runs significantly higher in price than our standard sized frames.
